DGU
Glass
ENGINEERED FOR THERMAL EFFICIENCY & ACOUSTIC COMFORT
Double Glazed Units (DGU), or insulated glass, consist of two glass panes separated by a hermetically sealed cavity filled with air or inert gas. This creates a highly effective thermal barrier that limits heat conduction, keeping interiors cooler in summer and warmer in winter. DGU glass is mostly used in skylights, where it allows natural sunlight to pass through while helping reduce heat transfer and sound transmission, improving indoor comfort. By optimizing energy efficiency, DGU Glass dramatically reduces HVAC dependency and cooling costs while providing excellent acoustic damping for quieter, more serene indoor environments.
